Supercharged Chai Elixir

During winter I literally live for hot drinks; tea, chai and hot chocolate being my favourites. I love creating different elixirs using fresh nut milks, healing herbs, different spices, fresh ginger and turmeric and more. A favourite lately had been this chai spiced elixir, boosted with the small wonders that are maca, lucuma and ashwaganda. Not only do these powdered roots and fruits do good for your body, but they also taste really nice. Try it for yourself and you’ll be convinced xx 


For one serving, simply blend the following ingredients in a blender: 

1.5 cup nut or coconut milk

1 tsp raw cacao

1 tsp raw honey or agave

1/2 tsp lucuma

1/2 tsp maca powder

1/4 tsp ashwaganda

1 tsp finely grated ginger

A dash of cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla and sea salt

Optional: a few drops rose essential oil


After blending, simply strain the mixture and heat it gently up on the stove. Perfect for a morning boost, an afternoon pick-me-up or a night time treat.
