Plant-Based Superfood Protein Berry Smoothie

Posted this recipe on Instagram earlier, and thought I’d share it here as well. It’s been my favourite smoothie as of lately; so so full of nutrients, fiber, protein and flavour ❤️

 

1 frozen banana

Handful frozen blueberries

Handful frozen blackberries

1 tsp Purasana Green Powder (a mix of spirulina, chlorella, wheat grass and barley grass)

2 tsp Purasana Shake your day (or substitute for a plant based protein powder)

2 tsp raw cacao powder

1 tsp of @nordicsuperfood’s berry blends (I used the red and the orange one) from @ohyes.oslo

1 tsp maca powder

Handful of baby spinach

Cinnamon, ginger and a little stevia to taste

Water, or almond/coconut milk to blend


Throw all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Top with more berries and a spoonful of nut-butter to make it more filling and to add some healthy fats. Devour immediately 😋
